US Open 2008 Latest Results | US Open 2008 Results | Updates
September 6th, 2008This is but a quick post on the Latest Results of the US Open 2008 at Flushing Meadows in New York. I have tried to open up my blogs awhile ago to check on the progress of tennis games at Flushing Meadows. But because I was a bit busy with the Wordcamp Philippines 2008 event, I had to content myself by postponing my access to the Internet to check for US Open updates.
Here are some of the breaking news and latest updates at the US Open 2008.

The Bryan Twins win at the US Open 2008 Men's Doubles
The Bryan Twins managed won the Men’s Doubles Competition at the US Open. Earlier this 2008, the Bryan Twins won a Bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing China Olympic Games. On Friday, they won the US Open Men’s doubles competition against Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy. This is the sixth time they won a Grand Slam in their career! As a result of this, Mike and Bob became the world No. 1 once again!
At the Women’s Singles of the US Open, Serbian Jelena Jankovic who is the No. 2 Seed player won a complete set against Elena Dementieva. That was a feat that no one else in the US Open managed to do so far.
Jankovic celebrates her Entry to US Open Women's Singles Final
Jankovic was so passionate with her game that she won two sets! Because of that, she will go straight to the 2008 Women’s Singles Final of the US Open. She might get nervous though because this is gonna be her first Grand Slam Finals appearance. Jankovic will face American top Tennis Player Serena Williams on Saturday for the Women’s Singles Finals! Dang! I don’t want to miss this fight! If only I could watch US Open 2008 Cable TV | online, it would have been a great experience!
Good news to the fans of that great great Tennis Player Roger Federer, he is advancing to the Men’s Singles Final at the US Open competition. I do hope he would square it off against Rafael Nadal in the US Open Men’s Singles Final. Whew!
At least, Federer took it as a man and as a professional sportsman. He took the night off instead of going away from the fight. During that time, he may have made some resolve. He will still play at the 2008 US Open as the partner of Stanislas Wawrinka in the Men’s Doubles. WhateverMighty will watch Rafael Nadal if he will indeed live up to being the World’s No. 1 at this time!
That’s it for now folks, the US Open 2008 will close a few hours from today! I hope I will be there to herald the champions and the Finals victors of the 2008 US Open.
