Celphones in Class and other School Blues
Monday, August 11th, 2008I decided to go back to school this semester. I enrolled in a Master in Communication class at Peyups. Not good ol’ UP Diliman, mind you. But P-U-P. Can still be pronounced as peyups. And the fees are way cheaper than other universities, too.
Had this teacher, (I won’t tell who). She keeps her two phones in the table and then one rang like crazy. While in the middle of her lecture, she picks it up and doesn’t care if we’re there. It’s as if, we disappeared from the room and she just answered the phone casually. Oh well, there was not state secrets anyway. So it was just fine. The thing is, if my phone rang and I answered it in the classroom like nobody’s there, the teacher would probably throw me out of the room.
Whoever said life is fair?
