The Grand Slam Tennis season is about to start!! We better prepare for the onslaught of the world’s best tennis players as they square off in Australia! I did cover the really amazing US Open 2008 when Roger Federer made a comeback and proved that he is still the world’s best tennis player.

The 2009 Australian Open will be held on January 19 to February 1, 2009 at Melbourne City.

I’m looking forward to the performances of my favorite tennis players. Will Roger Federer dominate this Open Tennis tournament? Or will Rafael Nadal make a come back? Andy Murray will be there for sure as well as the other top players who will be competing.

The beautiful City of Melbourne is the host to this event. Thankfully, the weather is still fine over there and winter has not touched the Land Down Under just yet.
